Hi All,

As the title denotes I am new to this forum, I live in Doreen, have two young boys, and ride when I can, but never as much as I would like. The brain remembers going fast but I am trying to get the body to remember too, the office job does me no favours so gotta ride more and build up some stamina.

I did a lot of riding years back, but have been out of it for a while, used a mates old KLX300 for a while, then got the bug so got my own bike recently, an FE570 Husaberg. Only done a few rides on it so now looking for some locals to ride with, especially Kinglake, Dissa, etc, as I have no idea where I am going and my mates are mostly from miles away so I go to Wombat with them as they all live out west.

Thanks for the welcome. I found you by just Googling “Rider Forum” and found your link on this page http://dirtbikeaustralia.com.au/dirt-bike-forums/index-Dirt-Trail-Bike-Forums.html

I liked the sound of the older crowd, as its hard to explain to people without kids why you just can’t ride every weekend with 5 minutes notice, if you know what I mean.

my old man’s foster folks used to rent the house that is now the golf course up the road from you..

so my old man’s former stomping ground, where he met my mum.. and the rest is history :laugh: :laugh:

welcome to the site mate. we are growing in numbers down here in Vicco.
we do a bit of riding on the east side of wombat, usually heading to the Trentham pub for a counter feed

we also ride around Paddys Swamp/Anglesea, Neerim/Gembrook/Noojee, Glenmaggie/Gippsland, Mirboo Nth, Kinglake (new to us)….etc

basically we will ride anywhere :laugh: :laugh:

….like whores :laugh:

personally, im off the bike with a broken spine at the moment but will be back into it soon. the other Vicco’s have been a little SLACK lately but winter will get everyone motivated to ride again

nice bike the Berger. my mate Choppa rides one and its the ducks guts (for a 4 stroke )

or keep checkin in for local rides, we try to give as much notice as possible

I know Kinglake like the back off my hand but it is still closed in most areas so I haven’t been there for awhile. Love riding there.

My mates farm is on Break O Day road and backs onto the national park but he is up north working these days, lost all his stock due the fires.

Welcome to the site, another Vicco to bolster the stocks. We’er all nuts on hear so keep a thick skin and you’ll be right. I live on the western side of town just moved into Point Cook. Generally ride around Anglsea but been real slack lately with trying to find time.

I am keen on any local rides or with notice can get mobile.

welcome mate, your’ve picked a top site to join and i’m sure you’ll meet some top blokes although Aido is a bit up and down. More down than not. :laugh:

Anyway as the site says most of us are well over the thirty mark and some, well lets just say when they fell out of the ugly tree they hit every branch on the way down. I come from Geelong but have been pretty slack in the riding dept lately as in the process of moving house.
