Hi all,
As the title suggests I’m new to OBT and Australia.
I moved to Sydney from the UK in June of 2012 with my Australian girlfriend and we are still finding our feet but loving what we have seen so far :cheer:
I been riding bikes for years now mainly road bikes but in the recent years trails and Enduro, really enjoy trail riding but with a lack of local knowledge and friends in oz this is proving a bit challenging.
I bought a new KTM 350 EXCF in September and have only ridden it once at louee where if fact I met a guy there that put me onto this site. Good riding but a little far from Sydney to go on a regular basis.
Hoping to meet a few people on here to go riding with as I really have no clue where to go and would probably end up very lost If I ventured out by myself.
Look forward to meeting some of you sometime soon.
Phil

January 11, 2013 at 8:52 pm #235390Welcome to the site and our beautiful country, Phil
Keep an eye on the ride gatherings section, mate.
We usually organise rides a week or two in advance but during summer (especially this summer)
we have just been doing last minute posts if the weather is cooler.
Hope to get out maybe Monday/Tuesday and then again next weekend
Cheers
MurphJanuary 12, 2013 at 7:18 am #235367Hi all,
Thank you to everyone for your responses and for making me feel welcome and I look forward to hitting the trails with you at some point in the near future.
Krusty I thought that was you. And I would be up for a ride on the 27th if your free, just need to sort out transport for the bike if I can’t get the van from work, but let me know and I’ll sort it out.
Had a look at the grading and the cornerman system, all good and I guess I would put myself at a grade 3/4 but always up for a challenge.
Louee was great, a bit rocky but good riding.
