    Hi

    I am to new Old Bulls – I was at Lochmaree last weekend and someone mentioned the website. I live in Wollongong area , been back into trail riding for last 18 months . I have a registered xr 250 that is still in good condition. Anyone aware of trail rides for wollongong / Souh coast area please let me know,

    GDay Heals Welcome to the site mate. Things are pretty slow around here at the moment with the birthday ride on this weekend. Sweet bike you will fit in well around here on an XR. OBT is home to a few very nice ones indeed. Check out TB’s/ Micks garage posts just to name 2. Also tonight they are naming OBT of the year so some cool stuff is happening.

    Quite a number of Old Bulls down your mate. :)
    Just recently there was a ride at Nowra which is not too far from you.
    From the ride report and pics it looked like a fun time. :cheer:
    If your ever up Newcastle way we’ll take you for a ride in the Watagans
    We have some great testing loops made up. :sick: :woohoo:
    Just about to go out this morning for a lash. :woohoo:

    G’day Heals,
    I’m from Gerringong and I also have an XR250. Great bike even if a little heavy for what it is.
    Riding country down here is between Nowra and Batemans Bay and points west of there.
    OBT runs rides out there and so do the usual suspects (dbw, dmsra etc).
    Two common start points are Wandandian service station and Albatross at Nowra.
    I look forward to seeing you on the trails.

    Hi

    yer I certainly agree re the weight . Mine is a blue frame XR’s only 93 which i bought down your way at Falls creek . Thks for the heads up re the rides. Can’t wait to explore soem new trails

    Dumb question – where do the OBT rides get advertised on the web site ?

    Hey Heals,

    I was was riding with you and the old man ;) at loch maree, i had the other xr.
    Check out the link for the apex ride at batemans bay Riggs put up that will be a corker of a weekend :woohoo:
    Although you need a registered bike (i cant remember if yours is ) :unsure:
    In fact i think that Riggs and CathiM are down in the Wollongong area so keep an eye out for them on the site.

    Bit Chilly Saturday morning though (-4).
    If you get stuck for a riding buddy let me know i’ll go anywhere to throw a leg over … :P
