I can tell you from experience, you are better off buying one. I re-built an old one a couple of years ago. Replaced everything inclunding tyres, sandblasted rims, wiring, lights, hitch etc, etc. I would have easily spent over $600, and at the end of the day i still had an old framed trailer. Not to mention the running around for parts and hours of labour.

can build a tilt car trailer for under 3K, with rocker springs, 4 wheel hydraulic disc brakes, extra heavy frame, full chequer plate floor!
