    I noticed the other day that Wolfman have upgraded their attachment method for racks other than their own brand :) (SW Motech, Touratech etc)
    This looks to be a better and more secureway to attach to the racks that don`t have the welded tabs.
    Wolfman have also announced that they are no longer building their own brand of racks, so looks like this was a big factor in development of the new universal strap kit.

    I am waiting for the postman to deliver my new Expedition bags (hopefully tomorrow) and had already orderd the old style attachment kit :whistle:

    Will most likely upgrade already now :laugh:

    There is nothing wrong with the old system, but as you pointed out the new system is only for universal racks.
    While Wolfman has stopped making racks in the US, our own Wolfman with Barrett’s has been producing racks for a while that will now ramp up to cover all the models that US Wolfman used to cover.
    The newest racks are an idea of Steve’s and they are a universal rack that fit Andy’s, Steel Pony’s, Wolfman , Rotopacks etc
    I fitted a set to the Kings bike afterwork today and I have a set on T2, great thing super strong

    That`s why I like the look of the universal kit as I have Touratech racks and they will work just fine ;)

    It`s no surprise that Jason is producing some great rack setups, he is a perfectionist!
    Oh Yeah, great work by the Wolfman too B)

    On further investigation all Wolfman Bags are to come with the Universal Strap kit standard from mid October…
    This gives users the option I guess of mount abilities ;)

    As I orderd mine early the same week I may have missed out on that :whistle: Mine were on back order waiting for a Black set so hey,,,, you never know until they arrive I guess :)

    Fingers crossed for tomorrow now :laugh:

    I doubt you will get the universal given the lead to order time, freight time from the US and custom clearance time

    Yeah I know, but I will upgrade anyway when they are available.
    Just a pity I spent the $$$ on the other type of strap kit for touratech gear, which is probably fine anyway ;)

    Well today both a bit sad but also glad ,,

    Got email advice that the bags and gear have been shipped without straps at all cause the old system is no longer in stock and no longer being made.
    Good news is that the new universal system will be shipped as soon as they have some stock ;)

    Sort of a win win I guess , just can`t use the bags till the new straps arrive in the country
