G’Day
Been lurkin’ in the shadows for a while and thought it time to show up. Lucky enough to have 2 weapons of choice (at the moment). Long termer – 800gs and Project – Rallye Adventure WR450. Both bikes are rarely ridden but workin’ on changing that.
I would be keen as to join the 2 Day Nav. Rally but work seems to have a way of getting in the way.
Look forward to tagging along on some rides soon

MickFebruary 11, 2013 at 9:59 am #236522Hi and welcome plindz, been watching your WR build on ORE, think I even asked or answered a question. Real shame about missing the two day but there will be more no doubt
Cheers for the intro

February 11, 2013 at 10:17 am #236527Thanks for the welcome :woohoo:
The bike build on ORE was fun to do – About you noting that the dipstick would be unable to be reached, with the front tank I have on it is really easy to still get to. One of the best things i did was modifying a brake bleed valve to assist with oil changes. No mess and easy to do.
The bike is an awesome machine and fun to ride – just the nut behind the wheel holds it back
Anyhow looking forward to tagging along on some rides and hopefully another Nav rally later. Enjoy your 2 days away this weekend

Long time no see mate ,, I still rave use that Airhawk I bought from you
I was watching your 450 build on ORE with interest as well as it unfolded. Some little dramas along the way that you seemed to cope well with
I missed out on Marks Hill End ride (had to work) and was bummed about it :pinch:
As PTW said, we should get a crew together soon for a blat,,, Me & Pete are pretty close to your place as it is.
Plenty of awsome rides on here and more i nthe pipeline for the coming year, so you should be able to hook on when work and the moons align for ya

Cheers mate
February 12, 2013 at 10:00 am #236560Hi eagle
Glad you’re enjoying the Airhawk – I got another one better suited to the Beemer seat profile.
Got a seat mod done to the WR – the juries still out as to how good it is “better but not great”I’m sure you’ll have a ball on the upcoming ride – “like a kid waiting for santa”. :woohoo: Would like to tag along but the moon gods are having trouble aligning at he moment.
Would be great to organise a “newie” crew ride some time – given plenty of notice I can get time away from my business.
Enjoy your ride this weekend and thanks for the welcome
Mark’s HillEnd ride was awesome – one of the best i’ve been on
