Hi guys , have been reading and enjoying the forum for a while and decided it was time to join in on the fun.
I am an oldy ( 55 ) a recently retired enduro bike rider and now enjoying the adventure bike scene.

My current rides are a much loved Super Tenere and a recently aquired DR650 with a heap of mods .

Always keen for a ride and am looking forward to linking up with you guys soon .

I am next to the lake and approaching mid 50’s too , a few of us around here into the Adv riding , Lake Mac is kinda big , I am Nth Eastern shore , near the Cafe strip of Warners bay.

I saw you scoping out rides on ORE, how did your run in the Watagans go the other day mate ?
You should be able to hook onto some rides on here, we have been a tad quiet of late but things usually pick up with the cooler weather

I also live in Macquarie Hills ( Stephanie Close ) and just up the road from Oldfatbeerman .

Linked up with Pikey a couple of weeks ago , met near Wyong up across the Watagans to St Albans for breakfast , had a refreshment at Lagoona and back across the Watagans .
A top ride but very hot and dusty .

What do you guys ride ?

I`m on a KTM 690R, you have most likely heard me go past some mornings on the way to work :whistle:
Chances of a ride are looking good in the next couple of weeks. I was nearly gonna head to meet you guys on that Watagan ride, but bike was already prepped and loaded for the weekender to Chichester for the KRR .

I often do a half day loop up over the Wattos, out to Finchley or up to Wolllombi and back around etc

:unsure: I was ready to mow the back lawn when she opened fire with the electricity and rain this arvo , looks like it will be waiting for me for when I get home tomorrow arvo after the test run for the new rear spring on the WR 450 rr . Life is tough when you have to put the chores off to test out some new components :laugh: .

Will make a call sat morning. Will most likely be something simple like head up to Cessnock, Mt View, Millfield, Wollombi, Yango Creek, Laguna and back across the Wattos to home.

How does 8.30am at the BP Cardiff sound ? I will be there to fuel up and it`s a tad silly to meet you on the street corner only to ride 2 k to the servo :laugh:
