Also got a lead on a track in Yengo and another out of Ourimbah state forest or around the back of the Watagans. Will probably head up the central coast Friday night somewhere and leave sometime from there heading somewhere 😆 There will be a counter lunch of course and staying in Newcastle on Saturday night thanks for the offer BeagsAnyone interested in a ride somewhere on Saturday as a warm up cause I haven’t ridden since last Saturday

July 6, 2011 at 10:48 pm #203250I have updated the first post in the thread with details of approx meeting times, fuel range & location of the Pines etc
Weather is looking good, 18 degrees and clear ,,,although the breeze might be back :whistle:Bring some warm gear and a smal backpack to store any gear you may strip off for the return leg.
July 7, 2011 at 1:41 pm #204421Hey Kat how about we meet at the Pub at Windsor we normally start the rides at. 8am start ok? If anyone wants to join in for say a day ride start location, is Cnr Thompson square street and George Street, Windsor. We will do the commission track and Yengo for starters (195kms of dirt and 50kms of black crap) then lunch at Wollembi’s Doctor Jurds Taven. If you are a day rider you can go from there up to Kulnura and down to St Alburns then Wisemans and back to Sydney. We will continue through the Watagans to Beags place

July 7, 2011 at 6:49 pm #203251Hey Eagle would you be able to do a GPS route if its not a hassle, I don’t know the Watagans im still a newbie to riding in the bush and trail riding, it would be greatly appreciated, or a rough idea of the way there. Hope its not too much to ask thanks
July 7, 2011 at 7:36 pm #204398EAGLE`02 wrote:See here for the route, pretty much identical to what we will be running Sunday,,,DEMASI,
If you zoom in on this one, on the return run we actually diverted down the main rd to Cooranbong for fuel and a run home as it was getting close to dark,,,
Or the google map thing will give you directions if you ask for them mate,,, Where are you coming from ??
July 7, 2011 at 9:29 pm #203252Probably from the ferry itself, thanks for the link, Im not able to ride untill next month due to school commitments although after if you want another person to tag along for another ride im interested
July 7, 2011 at 9:35 pm #203253No worries mate, you could ride up on a sat & camp at the Pines for the return run on the Sunday if you have adv setup etc. Would make an ok weekend ride.
Krusty is riding up & back Sunday (early start for him to kake it, but he is hardcore now)  Just ask him ,,,,I will probably run this ride again in a month or two, as Jeffro is bummed he is missing it due to shoulder surgery  It will make a good ride for him to get back to bike fitness. It is real cruisy, but still fun;)
Will keep you posted
July 7, 2011 at 9:42 pm #204562Hey Beags I have spoken with Kat and we are organised leaving from Windsor at 8am. Will ring you from the pub Wollombi. From there we will run through the Watagans to your place.
Where is there a bottle shop on route near your crib
