Hi Nickj
I’ve been reading your post with interest over the last couple of days and it dawned on me that the journey to buying an Adventure bike is not just a thrill for you as an owner its also other OBT’ers that enjoy your journey and provide you all the support you need as well.
I’ve been active on other forums but OBT is different and the care factor is priceless. Good luck in getting the bike setup and I hope that someday I’m able to share a ride with another Adventure rider that’s seen the light.
Sorry I’m in touch with the girlie side of me (for once) or is the the rum/coke I just guzzled.. … no comments please Boony. :silly:

January 17, 2011 at 11:58 am #194688When you pick up your bike Kat, we’ll give you a complimentary carry bag of cement. Next time you have any feelings, just take two spoonfuls and it will help harden you back up…
ER
January 17, 2011 at 2:55 pm #194801Ha Ha guys, could do with a truck load full of cement at the moment….I suppose the added benefit would be to weigh me down on the bike so my feet can touch the ground…

January 18, 2011 at 7:47 am #194822The XT660r was on my list of adv bikes ollie until the new Tenere was born then there was no contest, although i think Boris Everson uses one on the Longest Day ride from Sawtell and he does go a bloody long way on it!!
