I hope I can ride as good as him in 40 years when I’m his age
As STM said it’s hard to get footage of Mike as he’s either pointing you on a corner , disappearing round the next bend in a cloud of dust or grinning at you while you grovel on the hill he conveniently forgot to tell you was coming up
Here’s an edit of this epic weekend as I saw it !!

I was happy to have the little bike. It was much easier to crawl out from underneath it :laugh:

I surprised the boys by not letting on that we were coming up to it and they both came to greif as the video shows :whistle: but I was impressed that they both gave it another crack

Saturday ride conclusion…
After the effort of getting up Pig Hill we carried on through the next section of tracks which are undulating ,fast and flowing and gave the group the chance to get the body temp back down with a bit of wind in their sails
every time I looked back to leave a cornerman and Spud was the rider he was still hooting 😆 I think he was enjoying himself :cheer: :cheer: .As we started to head back we came to another section of tricky (steep)hills which again caused the body temp to rise :ohmy: so much so that once we got through these tracks I led the crew through to a nice little waterhole that we use on the hot summer rides for a cooling dip,it’s a bit early in the year to be using it yet as it takes ages to warm up even a little bit :S but Stm was off his bike and in in a flash :woohoo: :woohoo: we all followed but it certainly was’nt warm :whistle:
The remaining ride back over the last parts of the loop were great with wet riding gear :whistle: and by the time we hit the campsite it was’nt long before the beers were out
All in all it was a great weekend with a great crew, hope the hard hills were’nt too hard :unsure:

The hard hills were a highlight Mike , I love seeing where I’m at with riding skills and your loop was tops. Til next year hey ????
