September 6, 2014 at 7:42 am #259019Went out with Moto today to sort out the second part of the Saturday loop in an area I haven’t been for a fair while, and it was just as well I did because it’s all far&@ d
Just about everything’s been logged severelyleaving too much twin track to cover between good sections
For those who have been to Pig hill , that’s even had the dozer over it so anyone could ride it now  ( there’s two people I know who might be glad about it, but no namesSo we are still going to camp at the same place but will head into Kenilworth for part of the Saturday loop
Only 4 weeks to go :cheer:
September 6, 2014 at 9:34 am #259393Has moto given the berg a makeover? Was starting to look 2nd hand to say the least! Keen as mustard to get in for a ride and possibly a beer afterwards.

September 14, 2014 at 5:27 am #259020Just an update
3 weeks to go
Looks like lee has had to pull out
The Sunday loop will now have a lunch break in kenilworth with a chance to fuel up at the local servo before heading back ,the return loop can cover as many ks as people want to do so we can decide over lunch.
The loop to the lunch stop will be around 80-90 ks so we can see what the general consensus isSeptember 14, 2014 at 5:40 am #259511mike wrote:Just an update3 weeks to go

I’m sure it will be fine mate those kwawas seem to be pretty robust things
there’s a spare one in the family if you need some parts anyway

only problem with taking spare parts off the other is the invoice I will get for them. 100% mark up over bike shops
September 15, 2014 at 8:38 am #259532The rebuild continues, and thanks to Jacko, we made some more good progress on the weekend. The rolling chassis is back together so it is time to drop the donk back in. I am busy on the MTB next weekend and then Elise is in Sydney the week after so it looks like Noosa will be the first time I have ridden since the fateful Sunday at Spuds place. There is no way I would miss this ride so I will cross my fingers and hope for the best!!
