July 20, 2014 at 5:05 am #258446Jacko and Spud raised the bar on this one!! It was an awesome weekend and a great chance to catch with some of the trail crew. I have some pics I will sort through and load them up. I will also sent the Honda for surgery this week and let you know the outcome. I fear it won’t be pretty

July 20, 2014 at 6:38 am #258447I will have to agree STM, a huge thank you to both Nick and Spud and their families for their hospitality.
I had a great time and realised I’m not a grade 4 rider, thanks Smally and Spud for your help in that department and Rob400 for helping to get my bike back when I inadvertently put it over the side of the hill.
The riding was absolutely brilliant along with the company. Sorry I don’t have any photos, but I was too busy trying to keep up.
Thanks Boze for taking us over and back.
I hope to do this again.
Cheers BuzzJuly 20, 2014 at 7:07 am #258449A huge thanks to Nick, Spud, STM, and STM’s chauffer & the chief in the back ground.
Wow what a weekend bikes beers & single trails. Ya couldn’t of asked for a better weekend, everything just seemed to fall into place. Nick your back yard is awesome loved it. It took us 3hrs to do a lap of Nicks back yard yes his back yard. :woohoo:
Spud you crazy man, pretty wild trails you got there. They kept ya on your game the whole day, nice :woohoo: :woohoo: The hills well you will see in the vids again awesome.
Like always top group of guys to ride with, so where’s the next ride :woohoo: :woohoo:

July 20, 2014 at 8:23 am #258426I agree with the other guys it was a great weekend of riding and socializing with some old mates and some new guys .
Nicks loop around his place was excellent and was a real good warm up for Spuds Saturday monster loop :woohoo:
I think everyone was in bed by 8.30
Early start on Saturday with a drive over to Spuds where he mentioned to me it was -4 c    and with a bit of tar to do before hitting the forest it was going to be chilly
Once entering the forest we were into a day of awesome riding over a great loop which everyone enjoyed
Big thanks to Nick, Spud, and there family’s for helping out and to Rob /Nick for sweeping on Saturday and Smithy for the fuel stop
Great effortSaturday evenings session was a cracker too with Spuds twin stack fire pit blazing

A BIG thanks to Nick and Spud and their families for their hospitality, Nick, Spud, Rob, Smally, Andy and Smithy for their individual efforts to make it all happen. A lot of work went in to preparing the tracks and the weekend for our absolute pleasure :woohoo:
I could have kept riding it was that good. For me it was a toss up between more singles or beer “O” clock.
But after looking at Snowy it realized it was time for a beer
If you get the chance do yourself a favour and get onto the next Nth Coast ride, you won’t regret it
Thanks to all the boys who came along. It was a top weekend and good to catch up again :cheer:
Put me on the list for the next one
Adam.

PikeyJuly 20, 2014 at 10:03 am #258455Thanks Nick ,Spud ,Rob &Smithy what a great organised ride the boys put in so much work for this 2 day ride.
The trails where absolutely pristine I’ve ridden Nicks backyard before but not Spuds. The singles on Saturday where some of the best riding I’ve done for years. Thanks Spud for sharing your trails great to catch up with some old mates and new ones.its a real shame Scottys bike broke down he’s a great bloke to go riding with.thanks again to the organisers and I’m on the list for next year if you have it again.bring on the vids.cheers bigger alJuly 20, 2014 at 11:03 am #258456The weekend started early on Friday morning putting up a few signs to herd the old bulls into camp
Friday afternoon was a 60km loop in my back yard and the pace was on and smiles a plenty
Saturday morning saw an early start to arrive at Spuds around 7am
After the transport section from Spuds to trail where we lost my mate STM to a mechanical
, we hit a great trail and had a ball warming up , the odd bingle aside we made the first stop in no time.
We rode single after single and then up the tricky CoUntry Hill , The boys all stopped for a breather while Smally and I high tailed to The Bridge. Snowy made it clear he had concerns and even put in some back yard training back in Tamworth before the ride.
It paid off for Snowy because as I tried to slow the big fella down to see if he needed a hand he just wound it on and hit the bridge with confidence. It was by far the best crossing out of the pack
Needless to say I didn’t have time to get a pic as he was out of sight before my dropped jaw snapped shut.
Mikes stoked to be in NSW
Spud in the zone to hit more trails !!
Pre lunch stop …. Surfs up
Lunch at the pub
To be continued …..
