An early start and Rob400 and Quicky were keen as to get going :woohoo:
The rest of the crew were all parked at my place and getting geared up by 7.30
We soon hit the trails and our 16 starters dropped to 14 after a steep ascent out on the trails and a bit of carnage a father and son team broke a bike and had to bail
The trails were dry but in great condition and we covered ground with a very capable crew !!
After 4 hours riding and 70+ kms covered every one had a ball !! A few of the blokes hadn’t ridden for years but are frothing to get back onto the trails !!
Royce (left) rode his new (2000 model ) Xr650r bashed his way through not always on the trail and couldn’t wait to crack a midday Jimmy !!
Jake (right) who earns the name quicky on his klx450 , swept the first half then ripped it up in the pack !!
Gary (berg450) loves a ride but is battling to stay in front of his son Jesse who gets quicker every ride !!
Rob400 solid as ever and one of the best blokes I ride with !!
Dan (125 2t) scary fast and only ride once every few years , but the best can fall and he managed to cartwheel down Hyundai hill
Chippy (right) (125 2t) hasn’t ridden for 6 years , his tyres were perished and he needed a new tank before the ride but you’d never have known !!
Smallys Mates ( and now mine !!)
Smally (right)(wr450) is a full on ride whore and bloody good bloke who loves a new trail and challenge!!
Lindsey (left) (wr450) normally rides fire trails and beach but punted through the singles with style ( apart from when the thigh cramps struck at the end :pinch: )
Nathan (wr450)(not pictured) normally rides with Lindsey rode like a champ even after a couple of tight single lay downs. Brock (berg350) (not pictured) busted his shoulder last year on his brand new Berg hardly broke a sweat and left grinning
Andy (ktm525) the most solid rider you’ll meet , rode hard and swept like a champion !!
I didn’t get pics of everyone but thanks for a great ride and good laugh on the cans afterwards
Unfortunately my battery finally died on the video goggles so I only have minimal footage but I’ll try and pick the best bones out this week !!

I rode the 250 mate to try out the 450 forks I’d swapped, good test conditions too ,no forgiveness in the ground , it was really dry !!
Royce had a ball on his new xr650 bit wasn’t bike for and he felt it by the end
