Wyong to Gundy 4 September
Only Tryhard and myself on the day. Beautiful day for a ride.
Went through Cooranbong, Quorrobolong. Had to back track around a locked gate just short of Kearsley. Went into the bush at Neath and came out on Majors Lane Lovedale and on to Branxton.
Just when you stop to have a leak in the middle of nowhere, this bloke turns up.

Lucky Tryhard and myself were out enduro riding the day before. We needed the practice with both of us hitting things so hard the fronts were bottoming.

Finally on the dirt.
Albano Rd
A few twists and turns and we were on the Albano Rd at Bowmans Creek and on to Gundy pub for a steak sanga.
The Alan River Bridge I think. Closed they reckon. Not for bikes.
And old mate admiring the mighty DR.
On the way back we slabbed it to Singleton, then went through the back of Wollombi to Laguna and Murrays Run and home.
The amount of tar was a bit much but unavoidable for a short day ride….unless maybe going west.
Good day anyway. Did about 450km.
