This ride turned out to be a family affair with my brother Green450 and my cousin Sam. Me on the KTM 625, Green450 on KLX 450 and Sam on XR400R. We stopped to take the first pic and heard a bike coming down the road, it was a bloke named Adam from Engadine looking for somewhere to ride, on a KTM 450, so he joined us. He had heard about Oldbulls and is gonna take a look later. All of the riding was done in and around Helensburgh. Some nice firetrails a fair bit of single and some tracks that hadnt been used for awhile. The lantana and slippery leaf litter made it interesting in some places.

    Hey Hatto

the area we ride in is national park and some land owned by the mines, the catchment area is all locked up and there are hidden motion sensing cameras to catch people doing the wrong thing. last week there was a story in the local paper about it with some pics of bikes riding past, and like you said massive fines, up too $11,000 i believe.

    are you from around here?

I was thinking the same lines as Hatto but figured you guys would be on the ball since there’s a fair bit of constant monitoring and fining up in that part. I’d love to learn the area because my brother (the one that drowned the bike) lives at Sandon point.
