While waiting for the showers to pass over, I decided to fit a new seal to the fridge. Advice: get the fridge seal dude to do it. Probably easier.

So then we went for a ride on the nx. We went to a river up past dungog to have a picnic with friends. Most of them were there already (remember the fridge seal). It was a choice picnic. We had about $50 worth of fresh scones to eat and a couple of bluegrass players (moustahes curled up on the ends, bowler hats, no vests, but pretty cool for some young guys) bashed away on their banjo and mandolin. They were pretty good to. They are about to go on a tour of Europe.

We then headed on home. the road between dungog and Gresford is still one of the best rides ive come across. We took some sweet photos along the way home too

Champo is there any suitable places around where you went on this ride that we could spent night 1 of the Syd / Brisbane ride, say Dungog or Gresford? Any help would be appreciated.

the 2 old pubs at paterson look good, in a fancy pants sort of way. we thought of staying there tonight but we didn’t have our tooth brushes. we noticed that vacy had a simple (not pretty) pub with a flat style motel attached

i think both towns had fuel
