Snuck out with the cook’s new Xt250 today to go riding out the back of Nowra today. We left the ute at a mates place and ventured off Braidwood Road. First track was terrific until we were stopped by fallen trees. Back on the main track, we headed west towards the Yalwal trails. My mate Dave led the way as I had some idea of where we were going as I went 4X4ing a couple of months ago in the same area. The Power lines are a base we used and doubled back to them a couple of times..Great tracks and so much fun on the XT.
Dave led me astray on some great single tracks and back onto the main part tracks. Ended up at Monkey Trail, I wanted to ride this before and today with the drizzle and clay mud it was challenging. The XT is so easy to ride and light to get thru the mud and around the rocks on this hill! On the way back he took me through Hell hole track, just for fun!
5 hours and 102kms later we got back to the ute and packed up. We intended riding to Wandandian, but that will wait til next time.

I couldnt get on your ride, so I made arrangements a couple of weeks ago to get out there today. Has anyone rigged up a camera mount on there bikes? I was too busy riding to take too many pics unfortunately…
