Thanks Kev. In my defence I have to say that I was pretty knackered by that stage trying to stay in front of you guys. Besides it must of been a pretty bad log to help spit Mal off as well

FordySeptember 2, 2013 at 12:57 pm #249210Thanks to Snowy, Boony, Bollocks, Buzz, Damus & House for a fantastic Mount Bollocks 2013 ride. Also the 36 or so that took part.
I got to apologize for not staying for a drink and chat after the ride. The plans were to stay back and party for a while then call the girls for the taxi home. Well the ride was too good and wore me & Duey out by the end. 2 drinks and we probably would have dropped off. Head cold & dam rocket fuel.

September 2, 2013 at 6:37 pm #248902as everyone has said all ready thank you boony-snowy-buzz-bollocks-damus-arron-house-berry lady-sorry if i forgot anyone there.. and everyone else for the weekend the countless hours and months of work paid off it was a great weekend. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
no rain around ment dust and dust we got, by the end of saturdays ride we looked like homer simpson with a nice dust ring around our mouths it was splitting image… :silly:
fridays ride was lead by buzz which saw us in the forest in no time, a quick look at the steps was just a teaser for saturdays ride>>> all of a sudden we were off back up the track we came in on and out into the wilderness of blow up toys>>>> we even had a chance to play on a single i made and finished only weeks before with the help of a few of the old bull team on one of our last pre rides, after 30 or so bikes going through that it should have a nice line through it now thanks buzz for the lead here. it was back to our fearless leader after my little stint up front, it was great i was riding fairly well for a change ….

saturday saw boony giving us his best and that didnt dissapoint carnage on the first hill as always till the kato started giving him greif we got to our morning tea break where boony thought he would show us how to fix a kato. this was supervised by head mechanic damus
mechanic boony >>> and about 16 old bull apprentices pointing and sharing there advice we thought we had it till we got to the berry patch. back on the trailer the mighty kato went.
we did find a fix to the problem and that resulted in boony going blue it even matched his clothes and bag like as if he was just ready for that YAMAHA>>>> saturdays video later on tonight its still up loading
I think he likes it      :laugh:I had my fair share of falls through out the day and just dumb rookie mistakes but for the 9mths of riding i have,i am happy with the progress. the advice i get from all the older bulls is appreciated thanks every one, and Menace i will try to keep me nut on the tank mate.
riding though back river was fast being chased by boze and some one else we were hooking in. till a little rookie mistake so i thought i would let em go. and chase em back>>>>
this was when i was behind mr squiggle we were going quick and from my perspective it looked like he was doin a superman mx stunt till he hit the ground still on the bike. but it hit HARD and i have no idea how the bike and rider didnt break anything mr squiggle slid for ages and the kato was kart wheeling over the top of him lucky it didnt hit…………………..
after i asked if all was right we got to more important things like video footage who had a camera rolling squiggle didnt and i thought i turned mine off at the last corner till i checked and found it was and got it… though i was a bit far for the camera hope it got some of it for ya mate.. but at least you r all right…..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLuvk_1Ym3s
best viewed in 1080hdthats me done thank you all again for a great weekend and i look farward to riding at some of your home grounds one day…..
some more pics of the day
did we mention it was dusty   :ohmy:andy
September 2, 2013 at 11:52 pm #249213September 3, 2013 at 12:13 am #249214Mr Squiggle is either very lucky or very tough! I suspect it is a combination of both. When I came down that road and saw someone down below that massive booter I feared the worst
Glad you are ok mate.STM
