100 mm of rain cleared away at the end of the week making a nundle ride irresistible. So a quick ring round got a few blokes organised but obviously word spread and 17 riders fronted up yesterday for a 112 km run of nundle at its absolute best. Perfect bike riding conditions no dust great grip but enough mud to make it fun and slippery in parts. Most of us met with the ground at some stage for various reasons. With helmet cameras everywhere including one still in the Forrest I’m sure there will be some good footage to post up

Amazingly with so many riders this ride flowed unbelievably well and we were at the berry patch for lunch by 11 am where Matt also fixed the only flat of the day. Back to the bikes by 2.30 and at dungown pub by 3.30.

Sitting at work this morning wishing I was back out there again

Thanks Boony and Snowy for leading a great day out, Damus for sweeping all day and Rick for sowing the seed in Boony head.
I had a good day trying to learn how to ride my bike again. It was interesting at times to say the least.
Thanks to everyone for making the day enjoyable.

That vid was a great little reminder boony thanks for the revision mate. The conditions were perfect and with s new scorpion on the front the front felt like it was on rails. As you guys said the ride flowed like no other I have been on. No stops for silly stuff. Thanks boony snow and dhamus. For looking keeping the crew in one piece. Was great to see some new trails on the Dam side. Thanks matty v for getting me and the bikes there and for the Saturday prep. I said it to boony on the day and thought some might apreciate it too. Thank f&$k you guys got rid of those tractors and got enduro bikes as it is soo much quicker on the rides. And to the only one who still persists with the agricultural machinery….. Polly how do you ride that thing so quick?? I would like to have your 10000k service intervals though. :P You know what you should do. Ha. It’s always great to see you especially seeing you travel so far. Thanks also to Rick for the fuel drop etc. Had an absolute ball thanks to all who went and made it so good.
