December 8, 2010 at 10:30 pm #192150Sounds like a good do Boll. My only hassle is I have my work Christmas party in Narrabri on the Saturday night. Still keen but means leaving home at 4am. Will have to think about it and get back to you. Might see if Blue is keen and we can travel together.
December 8, 2010 at 10:47 pm #192169Would be great to see the Narabriians on this one. Surely we could do a bit later start if it means these guys will be there???! Then we will have to pay you back with a trip to DirtbikeTerritory or Courallie. The Tamworthians need to go to Courallie to see where all the Rocks in the world come from.
December 9, 2010 at 4:59 am #192170Almost tempted Boll
But can’t see me getting there because of work
Would love to compare a Bollsberg extreme ride with a Murphsberg :woohoo:
Hope you get more signing up than we have for Saturday. I capped our ride at ten but only have five starters so far
Good luck with it mate
Cheers

December 9, 2010 at 6:26 am #192195i might be able to do this one
December 9, 2010 at 9:11 am #192196Boony which one is yehaa. I’ve only been there a couple of times but the worst one can remember was fairly new last time I was there. I think it was after a creek crossing ans some openish grass flats. Was steep just at the start and fairly technical with trees, then went to single trail stuff and just when you thought you had it conquered you realised you only half way up. fairly loose ground with some large rocks to go around. The was a road around to the left but I’m not sure it takes you to the place where the hill climb finishes. This probably describes half of nundle but I tried to explain it from one visit more than 12 months ago and I had bruised ribs by then too from a little incident after riding off with my stand down. Apparently it is not good to jump with your stand down. If you have a picture I may be able to remember.

December 9, 2010 at 9:46 am #192206No not the one I was trying to describe. I don’t think I’ve been up that one. Is there a fence not far off to the right as you go up.

December 9, 2010 at 11:38 am #192151Roy your description sounds spot on to me. The start has two options the left is easier and the right is well….you had better talk talk to Boony about the right :silly: It has an angled root that spears you off in the down on your but direction. The start is the only real hard bit but if its wet then the last bit is slippery and the old saying momentum is your friend. Except when the rocks send you into a tree then momentum hurts  .
December 10, 2010 at 6:05 am #192214Ill still be away on hols so Im out. Enjoy he day and roost bollocks for me!
