I think half the problem with the xr was Aaron filled it up with water again when they had the spark plug out.
One of the funniest things I saw all day was Roachie going through one of the puddles only to find it was tyre deep in slops and it speared him straight out the side and it would have been over the edge of the cliff only to be saved by a pine tree.
December 20, 2010 at 3:37 am #193012Pep is happy again…playing in the mud :cheer:
Tracks were a bloody mess with downed trees everywhere and alot of the tracks half washed away with all the rain we have been getting.Just added to the “extremeness” :cheer:
Welcome to Big Mumma boys
Buzz had a nice up and under…then Matts bike went out in sympathy
Jarrod tears his way up.Roachie looks on while contemplating another helmet spew
still going…as is Roachie
BundyRoy heads up…Roachie still not well :X
Yours truely had one decent stack all day..the very last boghole on the way home…God damn it!!!
I was lying in that awfull mess ,then i saw the sweep Pep move infront of me for a prime roosting opportunity.I walked on water to get out of the way…so he missed me..haha princess..better luck next timeI was soaked anyway
Bundyroy has a yarn with one of the locals back at the dam.
This is the shiner i gave jarrod. He was fixing my chain and asked me to get on my bike while he was doing it.I swung my leg over and kicked him straight in the face  …oops….sorry mateeeeeeee
Thats all i got.Great day out. Thanks to House for leading allday,Pep for sweeping,Damous for taking Dave back to his car..he had an off and broke 3 ribs  and Roy for comming all that way for a ride with us.Hope it was as challenging as you hoped it would be
.Thanks to Boony for not comming,as that kept the rain away
Cheers to the old bulls who helped each other out all day and provided us with some humourious moments.Thats what its all about :cheer:Bol :woohoo:

December 20, 2010 at 4:01 am #193048House,
Make sure you tell the bloke on the XR (I thought it was Dick but Boll has Dave) to change his oil straight away. Get some cheap oil change it with that, take it for a good ride to get it hot and change it again. After the oil shows no signs of water then change it back to the normal stuff.
I might be wrong but it didn’t appear to me that he gets the bike out much and I’d hate to see it sit there for a long period with water in the bottom end bearings.
No need to give Aaron the same advice, he’s a seasoned campaigner at it now.

I found a fossilised dinosaur footprint in the second lowest layer of dust on his air cleaner on the Batemans Bay ride. That filter was like growth rings in trees, you could see the change in the seasons with the layers of dust.

Don’t think Dave(his nick name is Dickie) will be back on a bike in a hurry Roy.He broke 3 ribs yesterday and was mumbling something about “selling the bloody thing”…i should send him some flowers
