Meet at Nemingaha school….me House and Damus…waited for Cycletune for 15 minutes and we still dont know where he is
wether conditions looked ideal…no flood but enough moisture to keep the dust at bay and provide us with a few puddles :cheer:
Unloaded the bikes at Paddys corner and took off.Headed up Boundary rd and discovered some new trails.House and i had brand new helmet cams :cheer: ….but neither of us had any idea how to work them…apparently you have to set em up properly b4 u use them
i had a cracker of a logistical dismount at a bit of pace,i was the tail rider so unfortunatly no one saw me bounce twice on the track and disapear down a 6 foot drop off the side of the track.i landed sitting up on a nice liitle moss covered tree trunk with a decent size tree limb at eye level  how i am still here amazes me…spewing i didnt have my helmet cam on at the time. And not a bloody scratch on me :cheer:eventually i caught up with the other two then we found “the steps” down near Cemetry rd…up up up and up…as fun as a bag of cats…dropped the bike at the top on a bloody rock and snapped off the gear knob thingy.Made our way back to the trucks and Damus found an old old gear lever in the back of his ute and happy days we were off again :cheer: THEN the flood began….cats and dogs…we made our way to the berry patch for a nice hot cuppa. They were actually closed but house sweet talked them and the next thing we were sitting down to hot coffee, ham salad sandwichs and berry pie and ice cream :woohoo: .We bought the last of there fuel and headed off…still raining cats and dogs the last little bit we decided to head home on the roo infested road that Boony wiped out some of the locals on  rain felt like hail on the face so we went steady.House and i made it home on our reserve tanks and we were wet to the bone.
Great day out…and i am sorry there is no vids or photos…i tuely am cuase a good ride report should have all that…but we just F$&^%ed up
oh…and can someone keep an eye out up there for me for a lic plate and a rear indicator?…thanksBol :woohoo:

sorry I didnt explain..I have avoided guiding rides up them as they can be very unforgiving, and nearly impossible when wet, I have ridden them several times, and I have now conquered the rut issue, there easy now, the bike is set up for me..
December 28, 2009 at 9:56 pm #166443Good stuff Boony, I hate the long ruts you have to ride corners in my nemesis
