November 3, 2009 at 12:56 am #158935ok…quickly type out my ride report b4 i go out to the race track and lose all my money :cheer:
House rocked up to my House at about 6 am to load the bikes.Feeling a bit seedy as it was my brothers 40th the day b4.Fueled up at the servo an took a dump…i will spare you the details of that one
Met the rest of the riders at Nemingha school..cast of thousands.14 or 15 blokes ready to rock an roll.Took off and headed up the hill.A fleet of trucks with nasty lookin bikes roaring down the main st of the sleepy little village of Woolimin was a sight to see.Reminded me of the scene off Apocolyps now with all the huey choppers. “I LOVE THE SMELL OF 4 STROKES IN THE MORNING!!!”
Pulled up at Paddys corner and unloaded the bikes.Had my cousin with me from Sydney who hasn’t riden since he was a young fella. He was to ride my xr and me on my wr250.All kitted up and my cousin is trying to kick start the XR sweat was pissin out of him and he couldn’t get it going.Get on my bike then you bastard i said
Nice bit of riding and Boony was up the front working the cornering system well.Got to a single and then the day began to shit from there, for my old XR that is. One of the young fellas had his back wheel stuck between a few rocks so i parked my bike and gave him a hand.Once finished i turned around to find tha my xr had fainted and was lying on its side  .%$#^$$ bike came down on a rock and snapped the clutch  Cycletune house bonny and a few others replaced it while i sat back and had a smoke and told em what to do
away we went again and everyone was having a ball tearer of a time :cheer: Next little drama for the Xr wasn’t to far down the track.Pep was sweep and doing a ripper job.Came to an easy turn at a bit of pace off a decent road, just had a quick glance over my shoulder to make sure Pep saw me turning down the road then WHAMMO  bloody rock only about the size of a worksburger decided to take my front wheel away from me!!!Went down like a 2 bob hooker and slid accross the road like Mick Doohan :silly: Snapped my left barkbuster right off and broke my new bloody clutch!!!!! oh dear oh bloody dear.Eventully we got to the Berry patch for a bit of tucker and a chance to sit down and see who could tell the biggest bullshit..i won :cheer:
Boony led us home and the pace was good..he was in the zone.My cousin only had one stack on my wr 250 and it was in a great big muddy puddle only 200 m from base. That made my day
We pulled into the Dungowan Pub for some ice cold bevys that were well neededGreat bunch of blokes on the trip and yes Whanny you are going well son, getting better each time.Just try an remember what others tell you and take it onboard and you will enjoy it all that much more
Thanks for turning up old bulls for a great day out and Boony for all your help up front.House for the lift up and the spare clutch.Cycletune for your crackalackin mechanical skills and Pep for sweeping with a smile
Till next time :kiss:Bol :woohoo:
