Well the northern squadron of Old Bulls took on bloody ridge today, Bollocks came through again with some sweet but a little dusty and rocky trails, we unloaded in one of the nice farmers(Ted I think) paddocks, kitted up,watched Pep wow the cows, got Aarons 426 going, He uses really clean fuel, he even washes it LOL. We attacked the ridge track with gusto and everyone was riding well. We were on the warpath and the enemy was going to need help.12 Ks into the onslaught we found our first obstacle, a locked gate. Not to be deterred we turned the platoon around and rode with pride up a sweet hill climb and then we came across a obstacle that was a little difficult to get around unfortunately due to a local really not being too keen to let us use his property for advancement to the enemy we were unable to flank the enemy using our current bearings and give them that bloody nose
So it was back to the vehicles to reload and continue our onslaught of the forest.
We unloaded and refueled (thanks PEP) at our regular spot and decided to attack the western section of the pine forest. The troops were really having a ball and we soon forgot all thoughts of attacking the enemy and decided to take our anger out on the forest.
We finish the western loop and Solsey needed to get back to the car so he head home. Fair wells said it was the time to get dressed for lunch. Off to the berry patch we toddled and as usual the hospitality was exceptional. The heavens opened when we were there and that made riding some of the trails back to the cars a bit like a dog on lino, you have got to love the nundle red clay.
In total we rode 144.5ks mostly on singles and there was only a few offs and the general discussion was how sweet the ride was. In my words it was awesome.

top day, great bunch of riders.I will do my full ride report tonight, just thought i would post a few pics for now.I took a few vids aswell but my battery went flat so i only have footage of “Bloodyridge” and none of the pines…which is a shame cause i had a few of the odd bull going arse over apex…or so i thought :(
No actual ride pics as we were under the pump, but you can get exited for the vid which i will post tonight :cheer:

The Cows come to greet the Bulls when we unload at the base of Bloodyridge(they were very exited)

Boony wrapped it all pretty well with his report, but i spose i better have my say,it would be very remiss of me not to do so
Picked up a seedy Boonster early sat morning and met stevo at the servo…..(stevo at the servo??…be a good tittle for a Johhny Farnem song) :P
Meet the rest of the lads at Nemingha and we were on our way to “Bloody Ridge” :woohoo:
Pulled up at farmer Teds and the cows came bolting over to say Gday to a few old Bulls, bloody hilarious
We had no idea what was up on that ridge as none of us had ever been up there before,we pretty much worked out we could get to the pines from there if every thing went our way…she was pretty dusty and rocky in places but once we reached the top we could see for miles.Eventually after a bit of sight seeing we started to head in the right direction,we were nearly bloody there and we came accross a house in the middle of bloody nowhere  Two fellas came out and we copped the please explain????We did our best to pretend we were lost and if this was the right way to the pine forrest,we knew it was, but old mate wasn’t as silly as he looked :silly: he politely told us to get lost as we were on private property and there was no way from there to get to the forrest…LIES!!!!…anyways,it was a no go zone and i don’t blame old m8 one bit for telling us a porky…otherwise we would be blasting past his hippyjoint every weekend from here on …that was one locals “hearts and minds” we couldn’t quite win :(
Plan B quickly swung into action and in no time we were in the cooler pines and on our way belting around looking for Bunyips :cheer:
Some funny creek crossings which bought a few lads unstuck and lots and lots of singles and tight firetrails .Lunch at the patch which was very well recieved and evetually we made it back through some ripper muddy bits :cheer:
A good fun ride allround with a great bunch of blokes,(even Boony :P )Cheers to all who put in :)

My go pro had a mind of its own yesterday, every time i turned it on i actually was turning it off and every time i turned it off i was turning the bloody thing on!!!!it was all the cameras fault
I only ended up with 3 clips….one of them is me and Pep having a leak in the bush while we all decided which trail to go down ,one is me just poking along in the dust whistling and looking for Drop bears and the third one is the one i am going to post. After that the bloody battery died :( .
This clip is taken ontop of the ridge,
Highlights of this clip are probably the fact i didn’t know the camera was even on,traffic jam at a locked gate,me flicking a branch back onto the track and Cycletune running into it and nearlly going over the bars(turn the volume right up and you can hear my evil snicker :woohoo: ) my brilliant arm movements while giving directions that no one trusts  The cool mountain ranges in the background…and probably about it :)
Grab some pop corn cause i think it goes for about 9 minutes :P

how else could you get to enjoy our great views up here, If he went his normal speed it would all be a blur,,when you ride in these great new areas you explore not rip it up, pity theres no forest footage, then you would have seen the blurry footage. :)

Sorry didnt watch the vid Bol but i was there and saw it in 3D. Must say those views were brilliant. As for that photo of me and pep. They say that the camera ads 20 pounds. But I wasnt aware that it added 20 hits with the ugly stick :( Why didnt you tell me i was that ugly i would have put my helmet back on! Oh well its hard to look good standing next to the ladies man. He was also seen combing his hair in the car park
