Stevo’s Ride Report As the Newest Member:

Left home @ 5.30am & headed for Tamworth with a new 2ndhand WR450F ’07 model – my midlife crisis. Never been trailriding b4, got to Tamworth & met up with Bollocks & Booney. I’ve known Bollocks for a few years & he seems to be alright????? But I’d never met these other blokes b4. So I was thinking what sort of blokes at our age get these souped up bikes & spend the whole day riding at Nundle? They must be a mob of wankers :P . So we met the other blokes & headed for Ted’s (the farmer) place. Saw the cows & got geared up. I am a farm boy & been riding all my life but never had any gear. Cycle Tune lent me an armour & Bollocks (the good bloke that he is) lent me some boots. That, with the new pants and top on, I was thinking that I was the wanker….. Fired the bikes up but had to wait for the 426 – dirty fuel or something. By this stage I felt like a thoroughbred b4 it’s first race. The adrenaline was unbearable, not knowing whether I would be able to keep up with these weekend riders. We got going and it was unreal. I was able to stick with the blokes. One of the best things I’ve ever done. Thank God for my midlife crisis the WR450F – what a bike. It threw me a couple of times and I got close and personal with the Nundle gravel but thanks to the armour it was no worries. Had lunch at the Berry Patch in the middle of nowhere. Got 2 sausage rolls and watched Bollocks devour his berry pie and icecream, I had to have some too. Thanks to the Berry Patch – what a refuge for us blokes. We were up it again heading back to the cars, sliding all over the place after a quick downpour of rain. Wish I had that new tyre on that I was going to put on the day b4. My goggles were like seeing through a duststorm with rain so I ditched them. We got back to the cars @ 5pm – what a day! I was chafed in the arse and a bit sore from my stacks and bloody sore in the arms & shoulders. I found some muscles that I haven’t used in years. Loaded up the midlife crisis, helped Pep get the keys out of his F250, thanked the boys for a fantastic day. I will definitely ride with you all again. Cheers Stevo :)

    Breaking news

due to all the exitement following the ride on sunday there has been some very important news left out of all the ride reports..

I,(Boony) am no longer the sole owner of the hit a roo award,,no thats right peoples (and menace), Pep,our local crazy man collected a critter on sunday. Admittedly he did carry it 5 ks to present it to me , but he hit it, Pep sustained no injuries and I dont even thing he had a dismount, but a roo is a roo.
    welcome to the club Pep.

    Boony
