I am having a bit of a shed clean out and the time has come to part with one of my trusty NX650’s, the one I am parting with is an 1989 RD02 model and it is a veteran of 2 Scrapheap Adventure rides. (mt Kosciuszko and the back o Bourke) and she has enabled me to raise $1000’s of dollars for Down Syndrome NSW. It has served me well and has plenty of more rides left in her yet. She is in the need of a bit of TLC as the electric start has issues (sometimes it works sometimes it don’t) but it does have a kick starter as a back up. She comes with a rear rack, two good tyres, brand new rear sprocket and a torn seat repaired with duct tape in true Scrapheap tradition. It has 57335km on the clock and sometimes blows some smoke on start up, this alone gives her plenty of Scrapper cred. It also has two HRC racing stickers on the fuel tank that makes it go like the bejeezus!!! If any current or potential Scrappers are interested in her I will let it go for $999.00 to keep it under the $1000 limit. It is still registered to March next year.
Or if you didn’t want to do a Scrapheap ride, you could do something really groovy like this………..
