Too many people for me. ;)
    I’m out of this ride
Too damn close to my 3 month WA sojourn
And I don’t want to be the third ie: Lukes broken collarbone and Tezza’s broken leg
By the way hope your leg heals quickly mate
Try and enjoy the weekend without me.
    Stay cool and ride safe
    Cheers

Ummm sorry you wont be there Murph. Wish you had of let me know earlier but to be honest

    Enjoy your WA trip

On another note I asked that people workout and confirm their places and if they didnt want a meal you had to let me know by the 18th of this month. It is on the top the forum page even. I let it go until 10am this morning when I confirmed all the numbers with the catering people and committed to over 2500 bucks worth of food etc. Teza wasnt having a meal he let me know early in the piece, others did the same which was awesome. The food is coming rain hail or shine!

TB, could you keep me penciled in, mate.
Don’t rely on me to make up the 40 for the catered meal. (If I do make it down there I’ll be too pickled to worry about those insignificant things like eating)
    Cheers

Sorry to F you around but I was still keen up until my young bro broke his collarbone Yesterday. He had riden the 4-5 ride the day before like a pro but came off yesterday on a grade 3 on a very easy section. Then I realised it just aint worth it.
    Cheers

Hey TB, Whitehead has pulled out for this weekend but i have two other guys who are really keen to come along. Factory Phil was meant to put one guys name down but i just checked the list and i didnt see his name. Is it cool if he takes Whiteheads spot and if the other bloke tags along? ( He only wants to ride the saturday)

With such a large group we will need a few simple things to happen to help it run smoothly and they are

I would ask people as soon as they get there or if you’re there helping on Friday after 4pm or at YOUR EARLIST CONVINENCE please come up to the admin area, near the BIG SILVER van under the big silver tarp. If you could pay your meal money, get your freebies, put on your stick on name tag so everybody knows who you are. The sooner you get that out of the way the sooner it frees up the Admin guys so they can enjoy their evening / weekend without chasing people up

The Saturday catered meal will begin serving at 5.30 at the Admin area under the tarp. The ride leaders are aiming to have you guys back in camp by 4.30 to give you plenty of time to have a beer and get changed

If you have a SD card etc from your helmet cam or camera from the days riding, you will be able to bring it to the admin area, we will load it onto a laptop and play it during the evening on the big screen. If you have a USB stick we can put it on there for you to free up your SD card for the next day’s riding if you want.

I will be loading the adventure ride loops on Friday night for those that want it on their GPSs. I will also be lacing up two wheels for Menace’s YZ basket case project if you wish to maybe learn or even teach me

There will be an announcement as to the possible location change for next year’s Birthday ride

Look forward to seeing you all there

Just had word that due to the NSW marketing manager leaving Yamaha and the replacement not starting until a few weeks time they are unable to attend our weekend.

They have made a commitment to have a ride day for OBT in the future

    Sorry
