    Mick,

Thankyou for a great weekend ;) The experience was awsome and I had a great time trying to keep up with the 85’s and trying to keep ahead of the 65’s on Sunday

Saturday I managed to go from one bog hole to another, starting with the creek crossing on the seniors track, then ending up with Rebore, Fossil and the other boys that took turns at the bog hole and slippery hill from hell on the juniors track

At one stage at the juniors hill from hell there was a bike laying on the ground rider on ground and three sweeps also lying on the ground two of whom were sliding down the hill heading for the boggy creek, man it was slippery

To give you an idea the seniors rode the same section on Sunday and at on stage there was a 20 bike holdup leading to the closure of that section. Gotta hand it to the juniors they persisted with that hill all Saturday and none gave up ;)

One funny moment for me was waking Rebore on Sunday, I gave him a shake and he woke up swinging  He must have been dreaming of one of his bouts with Mike Tyson

It was a fantastic weekend, met a few more Old Bulls, got to ride at a fantastic venue, and watch some of the best riders going round. :woohoo:

Next time I’ll make sure I have a new rear tyre, it may help save me from the embarrassment of falling off in the first bog hole in front of pit lane on the pre race sweep. Hopefully everyone was too busy preping their bikes to have noticed

Thanks for a great weekend guys :)

    Adam.

Speaking of lack of fitness Ollie or in your case injured ribs or whatever it is this time when are you coming clean about your big get off that caused these injured ribs. How fasssssssst were you going when you crashed, was it “0”? When the XR threw you in your driveway, thats the second crash in your driveway thats caused injury in the last couple of years isnt. Maybe Murph should run a Murphsberg there or you should learn ……………. You have been very quiet about it haven’t you

Maybe you could embellish us and make the crash sound better then it was :P

All going well the AORC will be on Sept 10 & 11……….Protty said, if we are keen to do the sweeping there, it would be great. Those who swept this weekend, by rights will have the first option to do it all again at the AORC. Those guys have earnt their stripes and deserve first dibs.
I will keep you posted, should it be on.

Good call Eags. They do clash. :pinch:

But when it comes to riding at an awesome motorcycle event or just watching an awesome car event. I think the AORC will be my choice. ;)

Nope nothing to exciting, truth be told I just parked the XR on my steep driveway and turned to pull the roller door down, when the BRP rolled off the side stand. As I tried to slow its fall from vertical to Horizontal I pulled a muscle in my back that joins the ribs to the spine :( took me a week of Physio lots of drugs and time off work just so I could get to Mt Seaveiw, I promised mick I would be there , but unsure if I was able to ride , thats why I organised my Brother Shane to fill in for me. Sorry I cant spruce up the story any more than that

    Settle down fellas!

It isn’t 100% certain yet. We will see what happens. There will be a bit of crap to sort out before they will let it run up there.
