Well there has been some weight loss talk in another thread and it was put forward that some of us could lose a bit

I myself wish to lose at least 14 kilos, really should lose 24 kilos so this week I have started my own program and am putting this out there in the hope to encourage others to do the same for themselves and I guess for their long term health

My starting weight is 114 kilos my 1st goal weight is 100 kilos and then 90 kilos the 2nd mark I would like to reach within 6 months rather then 6 weeks as I want it to be a long tern life change not a 2 month fling

There will be no prize only the enjoyment from having a smaller frame.

If you are interested post you weight and goal and let’s get into it maybe we can post how each of us are doing it and that may help others

I’m with ya on this one TB. If I don’t slow the weight gain im going to need to buy a shitload of new cloths, riding gear included. I’ve got an expensive suit in the cupboard I needed to wear last week and I had buckleys and none of getting into it.

Not sure of my current weight but it’s in the mid 90’s, will need to weight myself. Not 18 months ago I had a major medical and I was 80kg. I’m looking to lose 10kg to at least get down to 85kg.

I will be able to achieve this by cutting a couple of this out of my diet, mainly McDonalds and getting more ride time on my mountain bike, which I enjoy anyway. I also plan on re-joining the gym to get in a couple sessions a week.

Feel a bit better, just got to get the flab under control and get fit now to take advantage of being a non smoker.

I hear what scotty is saying about gear not fitting anymore, I bought the DRZ for myself for giving up smoking, and I bought all new riding gear, which of the pants dont do up any more
So I am definetly in on this challenge.

Bollocks should join up to

I was 107-109 12 months ago, got down to 95 (stress induced apparently, and i took up smoking again after 5 yrs off) but have noticed I am starting to “fill out” again so when I get home i’ll weigh myself and join in.

unfortunately i come from “heavy” stock….. Polynesian and Scots, so we do tend to get a bit bigger as time goes by.

I’m up for this one for sure.

If theres no prize at least braging rights, oh and also all the models swarming over you.

Starting weight of 131 kgs with a goal weight of 110. Even when i was 20, super fit and playing top grade footy my weight was 100 kgs with 9% fat, so i think for my age 110 is acheivable.

Although if you go by all the weight charts my ideal weight is 85kg. Never gunna happen. Maybe when i was 14.

    Good luck everyone.

I was going to buy another DRZ as i had all yellow gear going on and i love those bikes but after i tryed on my gear and it no longer fit and i did a test ride on the KLX and the $7200 price tag i couldn’t pass it up. but then came the $$$$$$$$$$ for new gear.

So is Wednesday the official wiegh in day ????

    #157456

    Current weight: 94kgs
Target weight: 85kgs by end Feb
Strategy: A shit load of MTB, walking/ jogging to the beach for a surf instead of driving and less beer during the week. The weekend however is an entirely different story

tell you how serious I am about this.
I am willing to not brink beer between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm Monday to friday unless I am on leave or an ADO.

Now that there is dedication to a cause. :)
