goal 90kAs i get older it’s been pretty easy to put the weight on and i’m now startin to get a bit self conscious about it aswell. i’ve got a bit of a barrel belly goin these days and even when i suck it in it doesnt disappear like it used to.I’m no expert on diets and stuff but a bloke i work with is right into it and he reckons sugar’s pretty fucked. anyway TB it’s good to be talkin about it cause it’s easy to pretend that everything is alright and just go along as if we’re all youngens still. As blokes we all think we’ve gotta be macho and all that stuff which is good for a shit stir and a laugh with mates but we tend not to talk about this sorta stuff with each other.If this helps some of us lose a bit lard than that’s exellent so good luck to all.
October 22, 2009 at 2:18 am #157589Well I jumped on the scales today and it’s worse than I thought. 99.2kg. I was expecting mid 90’s.
Seeing I just spent a shitload on the DRZ suspension having it set up for 90kg I will be making this my first target weight. Then down to 85 which is a weight I feel really healthy at.
By the way just got home from MTB ride with some good hill climbs and feel great.

October 22, 2009 at 6:41 am #157594well i just got off the scales and they say im 108kg. losing weight has been playing in the back of my mind for a while now and this just might be the motivation i need.
i dunno how i will go. im under a shitload of pressure at work and home at the moment and its taking its toll in all sorts of ways.i drink as much or probably more than any of you blokes. (not that im proud, its just habit), i dont eat much chockys and shit but when i eat, i really eat.
my favourite food is “saturated fat”.
i have been known to lick the bottom of pizza boxes after first devouring the contents. :blush:im not gonna kid myself and start straight away, im looking for a new house to live in and its a very stressful thing to do in melbourne. as soon as i find one and move in, i will be starting.
my first priorities will be …
drinking (a lot) less, (and scotch and SODA when i do, no more coke)
eating less per sitting.
sit ups, chin ups, push ups.
getting out on the pushy and walking the woofa.now i need a new house….a change is as good as a holiday
and man, do i need a holiday……..from life!!

as long as you dont do these regularly, try doing push ups right now. Bet most of you (me) cannot do twenty.

) I go to the end of the bed and do them with my hands on the floor and feet on the bed.
