Ode to Old Bulls

I just happened to notice that I was on 299 posts and because most of the stuff that I post is usually crap I thought I would spend a little bit of time on the 300th post.

Hence an ode to old bulls. For those who I haven’t mentioned I apologise because it’s hard to remember everyone. I am not very good at this sort of thing but I think you’ll get the jist.

OBT Spirit

I love the old bull spirit,
I just have to say,
I love that everyone is welcoming,
It seems to be the old bull way.

I love the pre-ride excitement,
Before a big day,
I love the effort that is taken,
To ensure the ride goes OK.

I love the old bulls network,
Everyone’s willing to lend a hand,
Nothing is too much to ask,
Isn’t that just grand?

I love the passion that TB has
For organising the big events
Although that he sometimes finds
That the site can get a bit tense.

I love the varying characters,
That the site seems to attract,
Theres Moto, Champo and Novice,
Need I say more than that.

I love that Menace is a toughy,
Until you get to see,
That beneath that tough exterior,
He’s a softy just like me.

I love that Eagle is so considerate,
Of others on the site,
He’s always got some nice words to share,
Except when TB wants a bite. :laugh:

I love my friend Racy Tracy,
Who rides better all the time,
I love that she’s so passionate,
And really likes to climb.

I love the way that Boony,
Comes across as being a dick,
But when you actually talk to him,
You find he’s not really a hick. :laugh:

I love that Boulder is like a Dad,
For those that are on a ride,
He takes good care of everyone,
He’s good to have by your side.

I love that Chris is our IT guy,
Cause I know that when it all goes to shit,
He’ll sort out all our problems,
With his trusty IT kit.

I love our northern neighbours,
MickandMeld and Moose,
They are such laid back characters,
But maybe it’s all a ruse.

I love when MickG & Superunit,
Are able to come on one of the rides,
As they make it much more memorable,
They’ll have you splitting your sides.

I love going on a ride with Bollocks,
Cause he brings you morning tea,
Even though he’s lugged the thermos,
To cater for twenty-three. :blink:

I love our ride whore Jeffro,
Who is currently overseas,
Otherwise he’d be on every ride,
As long as he has his keys.

I love that Sammy’s bike is nearly ready,
For our Chistmas at Louee,
I can’t wait to ride with her,
I hope she feels the same about me.

I love Chop’s Banana,
And I have to thank him for the time,
That he let me ride it and fall in love,
It’s really very sublime.

I love my husband DanD,
Because he puts up with my obsession,
With bikes, bikes and more bikes,
Even though it might put us in recession. :kiss:

I love that I love old bulls,
It really makes me feel,
Kinda special to be part of a group,
That makes riding real unreal.

No you have it all wrong Mick, I said three thumbs up cause you guys are great up there (well Moose is :laugh: ) and Kylie had already received two thumbs up from ECKS I think, I just wanted to give her extra credit for her hard work .
