Hey Just a thought, we should maybe start planning an OLD Bull day coming into summer maybe, a chance to all meet up, ideas for locations, maybe somehwere like louee, or the watagans, (hey i’m thinking of you here mick and you north coast boys) if we start thinking now and get some dates hopefully will give everyone enough notice.. I know I need at least 8 weeks:laugh:

Ideal would be an overnighter with some camping drinking women etc etc, oops maybe not the women!!

    What do you think??

    Chris.

We could also split the costs and make it a set $ per head to pay for food and alcohol etc..

I’ve had too many rums so I’ll probably forget this in the morning.. So I’m just posting ideas??

    Cheers
    Chris.

Good thought Chris. Someone had to throw that on the table.
I have a mate that has a 320 acre property that backs onto state forest about 27km from here. It has a furnished three bedroom shack with power and a huge MX track complete with a 3 meter high kicker jump for the more adventurous.I have been working on him to let it out to the likes of us for that style of get together.
He seemed keen enough last time I filled him full of piss. There is an option.

Chris you are on fire! I have been going over this for a little while now and have spoken with Louee, why Louee
    Well
1/ Its a netural location for everyone

2/ Shearer’s Quarters sleeps 40 and has everything

3/ There is a pub in walking distance

4/ I spoken with them regarding cheaper rate for a mass weekend booking

5/ We can ride friday, saturday and sunday

6/ We can motorcross, enduro, supercross or endurocross

7/ There are no insurance dramas using a mates place

8/ They have some spares there, tyres tubes etc KTM parts !

Any of the other parks are south of sydney and further for our northern friends to travel, free flight doesnt have to same enduro trailrider things that us trailriders look for

    Everyones thoughts??

Oh and maybe early Feb 2009??

Link to look at Louee http://www.louee.net.au/index.html

Yeah great Idea chris, Louee sounds good with everything there for you, But I was also thinking of the Watagans as well, especially with Macs trailer barby setup it would be perfect for a two day one night affair, Probably camp at the Pines and go from there plus it is easily accesible for a wider range of Old Bulls especially the northern Bretheren.

    cheers Ollie

Should we make FEB a family thing where we bring the kids?????, Mick I can’t believe You haven’t heard of the watagans, It’s mentioned in nearly every dirt bike magazine issue.. I see TB has caved in to pressure and sent you some stickers,,

    Cheers
    Chris.

Yeah,I have heard of the Watagans but had never bothered to worry about were they are.I don’t buy bike mags because when I read them I get all keen to go for a ride, same reason I don’t read pornos.LOL
I figured there was some sort of conspiracy regarding the stickers.I was one of the first on board and still hadn’t got them.

Gyday Tb,November/Dec sounds like a good Idea you really need to have the local knowledge for the area though which it sounds like TB has,I used to years ago but am slowly getting to do more time up there (im going on Saturday with a couple of old riding buddies) The closest town to the Watagans is probably Cooranbong

    cheers Ollie
