How about posting up some pics of yourself as a youngster on a bike.

Unfortunately I don’t have any from my young days on my Dexan (sp?) minibike with the old Briggs and Stratton zip start engine.

Slug old mate great idea. It was a Deckson daredevil and it would probably had a Tuchumse engine.

Mick, it was definitely a B & S engine. Maybe the bike was a Deltek. My neighbour and I each had a mini bike. Now I can’t be sure as to which brand we each had. He had one, I had the other.

Yep that’s it, except mine was a “rigid” i.e. no rear suspension , just front. Didn’t have a red engine though. Mine was silver.

I have cut plenty of miles on an old zip starter or zippy as we called them. Didn’t the ape hangers help heaps once you got a tank slapper happening…NOT

I remember my brother Ant coming off one on a gravel road wearing only a pair of dick stickers,you know a red Indian couldn’t have skinned him better. :S He still has the scars to prove it.

How do you apply dick stickers?? It is hard enough trying to aply stickers onto the dirtbike. Will there be any Old Bull dick stickers? If so, what sizes will they come in? Maybe TB’s 15 y/o neighbour could design them as well.

Mick, I think the comment about the red indian is a bit racist. The last thing we want on this forum is to offend all the non Australians, like the slopeheads, curry munchers, towel heads, slant eyes, grease balls, nips, fuzzy wuzzies, coconut heads, jiggaboo’s, frogs, pommy gits, krauts etc. We have to be careful not to stereotype the many and varied cultures in this world. They can’t help it if they are inferior to us.
