The rear tank is on and connected, I modify the brass T-piece I bought but it ended up causing a leak so I have stuck with the plastic one for now. An in line filter came with the package thanks for the tip anyway Boulder. I have been for a test run (6Km)and the fuel is getting through fine so far.

All I need to do now is get all my gear together, fill the gerry can and I a good to go. Look out snow, here we come yeeeehaaa. :woohoo: Photo081.jpg

The leg should be able to be thrown over that tank easy as;)

There a bit of a pain in the butt to fit, mine was anyway because of a home made bracket I have that holds the after market tail light. I would have thought also that as the dr already has holes in the guard that they would have put the bolts on the tank to suit instead of drilling having to new ones.

Yeah it is a good point Booney, you see the tops broken of the cap for the breather with those tanks a lot because of just that reason. I dont like tool bags or anything on the rear guard now days because of a injury caused by a tool bag there years ago getting caught up while bailing from the bike at speed :(

I`ll be looking for an aftermarket fuel cap IE the one off my quad which has the breather system built into it and nothing sticking up..I think you just have to consious that the tanks ther and alls well.
