    G’day

I registered a few weeks ago and I’m about to put my name down for Old Al’s upcoming ride, so I thought I’d better introduced myself!

I’m nearly 62 and I’m retired. I’ve been riding bikes since 1963 and over the years I’ve have had a go at road racing, motocross, enduros, VMX, vintage dirt track and go-karting, plus a lot of road riding, so there’s usually been a bike of some kind parked in the garage. These days my most of my riding is done out on the trails.

I’d classify myself as a cruisey grade 2/3 rider.

Looking forward to riding with OBT.

    Cheers

Welcome to the Forum Rodger, This place caters for a wide range of different capabilities and there is always a ride going down somewhere. Enjoy your ride with Al and Mudrat (whom I just met)

    Thanks for the welcome everyone.

What do I ride? Well I ride a KDX200 which I bought new back in November 1989! (I fitted a big-bore kit some years ago)This old bike has never let me down.(hope I don’t regret saying that!)

At my age I’m happy to still be out on the trails and I don’t reckon I’d go any quicker on a modern bike anyway!:)

    G,Day rodger,
welcome mate, thats a long time on a bike enjoying the sport, good to see an old 2 stroke still looking sweet(maybe mine can last as long), i wonder if the current crop of bikes will give their owners service for that long?
