bought the sony action cam in the end. Got it from Costco for $299. Couldn’t match the specs on the gopro for that price.
I’m waiting for the goggle mounts to come back in stock. I bought a bar mount which lasted a whole 5min until I dropped the bike.

Good stuff,cheers Teza.May 12, 2013 at 1:16 pm #241673A last video from me.
This was a great single that I think everyone enjoyed, it just flowed really nicely cutting back and forth through the trees.
I was behind G Mac for a lot of it when I could keep up. He peddled the DRZ well all day and never stopped smiling whether he was on the bike or under it.

May 13, 2013 at 7:05 am #241682Good to meet you GMac.
Glad you had a good ride. That was a pretty easy run for Murph and the boys but so good of them to take time out to show everyone around.
May 13, 2013 at 8:34 am #241619Awesome ride everyone! Thanks Murph for showing us some great tracks.

I’ve thought about getting one of those head set communicators so other riders can give me tips as I’m going. My only concearn is who has to listen to my rants. Could be seriously distracting for someone   :laugh:May 13, 2013 at 8:57 pm #241738oldgirl wrote::laugh:

Bike riding, for me, is very similar to surfing.
They are solo sports
And I love the solitude. On another note.
After going accross the ferry at Port and traveling up the coast road, surfing at Queens, we pulled into Cresent Head to pump the tyres back up and was greeted by Kram. Small world. We had a chat and then we continued on to Hat Head.
The old coast road was easy since we have not had rain for a long time
Our beautiful country
Gotta go, time for a surf. :woohoo:
Cheers
MurphMay 13, 2013 at 11:52 pm #241739don’t worry I won’t be getting a head set for that exact reason. When I’m on the bike its just me, antonio and the scenary.
Cool beach shots. I grew up on qld sunshine coast. Every wk end on the beach dickies, kings, moffat or alex heads so I get where you’re coming from.
Enjoy the waves.
May 14, 2013 at 8:47 am #241742Hey Old Girl,
Great videos they were LOL for sure :woohoo:  . It looks like you did really well, good on you.
I took a heap of footage from MickP’s birthday ride which was very reveling about what I thought of the ride and some of the down hills. Trust me it’s not for general viewing!! I always new I could swear with the best of them, but even I was surprised about what I said.
It flipped from encouraging myself (in a very positive and weird way) to cussing like a sailor!!!
I will have to try the singing method, thats gold!!
Well done everybody and thanks for the footage.

May 14, 2013 at 9:02 am #241764I’m just glad that my bike is super loud so the other riders can’t hear me when I really get going.
👿 .Oh yeah and I got my xray results back today looks like I’ve got a tiny hairline fracture in my hand. Right where I said to the boys after they had helped me get up, “I’m pretty sure I’ve broken it here” :pinch:
All good though. Its at the base of my pinky so I can still use the clutch next sunday on my Trials course. :woohoo: Will just stock up on pain killers before I go and try not to fall on that hand again
