If you don’t snap up Ollie’s exclusive generous offer to Old Bulls, you are just plain crazy.
Two days after receipt of my payment, a brand new shiny stainless steel filter arrived in the post. It was safely packaged to avoid any damage from our friends at Aust Post.
The first thing I noticed about the filter was the excellent contruction and finish of the product. The ends of the filter are well machined alloy, which to me states that this is a very high quality product. If you like shiney things, you’ll love Ollie’s filters!
I change my oil every 300kms of riding or four months of just sitting idle. Which ever comes first.I replace the oil filter every second change. Even though I had recently changed my oil and filter, I was dead keen to get this bit of new bling on the bike, even though it would be an invisible addition and doesn’t have any “poser” value. (unfortunately no stickers come with the filter)
As to be expected, installation was straight forward, as it would be with the standard type filter. There are instructions regarding the cleaning procedure on the filter packaging, so don’t just throw it away until you are familiar with what is required as far as filter maintenance goes.
On scales of economy, it can’t be beaten. Individual genuine paper filters from a dealer for my bike are around $16-$17. Ballards sell aftermarket ones for approx $12 each or $75 for ten, plus $6.50 postage. It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to figure out that at $45 delivered!! what Ollie is currently offering, is an absolute bargain.
As a gay musical type in a cowboy hat says, “do yourself a favour” and get one of these filters while they last at this price.
regards,
Nigel
disclaimer: I have no affiliation with Ollie or the manufacturer of the filters. I just know a good thing when I see it and want to spread the word to fellows riders and bike owners.
