G’day Bulls
I have recently taken my job and bailed from Sydney and moved to the Coffs coast. I rode as a kid but sold my IT175 at 17 and have not ridden since. Fast forward 20 years and I have ended up in Dirt Bike nirvana and am loving it. In the last 12 years I have been riding a lot of MTB and competing in DH events so it is all coming back pretty fast. I have already over cooked it once and learned the benefits of knee braces the hard way.
I have a killer loop straight out my garage door so if anyone wants to join me then hit me up as I am riding solo and am keen for someone who can call the chopper when I blow up

My skin is thick and I have read enough threads on this site to realise banner is compulsory. Bring it on! I live in Mullaway and have found some absolute gold. Some needed chipping out but I have a loop now which is epic. More than happy to show you around, did I mention I home brew?

AnonymousAs mentioned on the Chrizza party thread welcoem to OBT mate. I too did MTB for a while and have heard many a story about the trails at Coffs although never got there to ride.
There are a couple of members up your way who ride and I’m sure you’ll find a riding partner soon
We will have to organise an Old Bull ride up that way. Aarochild is already trying to get a ride going in May. Look here for a bit more info
March 25, 2009 at 11:59 pm #126814Nice one Moto
Cheers for the link. If crew are thinking of making a weekend of it then you could ride Saturday in Bellingen and Sunday on the Nth side of Coffs. You will not be dissapointed. Closest town is Woolgoolga and has cheap accom and a good vibe.

AnonymousGet on the Bellingen ride (and maybe PM Aaron as it’s his Birthday ride) and sort out the details with him. I wasn’t going to make it but, dates dependant, there is a small chance I might be able to get there.

last time i was there we cruised around…..ummm i think the place was called bremner park or bresner park or something like that????? i cant remember, it was many moons ago. we tried to climb the “very damp and slippery” hill in my old. got some real funny looks from some 4WDers as we overtook them sideways with the old 351 screamin, just in control..LOL drivin with one hand and drinkin with the other….ahhh the good old days.:woohoo:
i swore that id ride around there one day….and i will!!!what sort of yammy ya got mate, is it a two banga? or a sheep chasin 4 stroke?

March 26, 2009 at 7:54 am #126900Hi Menace
You are thinking of Bruxner Park. Steep and greasy after rain and we get our share of rain. Dust is rare though so it will be a new experience for a Mexican. I just checked some work dates and I am in Dirty Vegas until the 26th of september so that shuts me down. I will keep an eye on other ride days so that I can meet some of the boys.
If you manage to keep yourself in one piece after Louee drop me a line on your way north and I can give you my number so we can smash that chinese and the roost some loam.
I am on an 05 WR250f that I picked up second hand on bikes sales. The guy who owned had put a bit of bling on including a pipe and header and it is going really well. My trails are mostly singletrack and tight in spots so the 250 does the job nicely. it certainly has a lot more ponies than my MTB!
March 26, 2009 at 11:20 am #126905its a deal STM,
i’ll keep in touch mate.
Bruxner park….. thats it, its been sh!ttin me, not being able to remember…..thanks mate. the greasy pr!ck of a joint:woohoo:
ha ha… full opposite lock hill climb, not too much fun on a bike, wicked fun in a V8!!! (wave to the 4WDs honey)
ill be there 28sept till about the 2nd of oct…..
ya betta be ready bro…..haha
ps-hangin ta ride without dust again…its been a while
menace:woohoo:

You get up here, fuel that bike and sit back and enjoy a tour of my local. I would say eat my dust but we don’t have any:)
