After a very close call with injury last week i decided to purchase some knee pads.I tried on several brands ranging in price from $30.00 to $200,and ended up buying the Oneal Pumpgun Kneepads for $50.They have pivot knees and adjustable velcro straps .They feel very comfortable and can be worn either under or over Your pants due to the adjustable straps. For those of us in Vic i purchased mine from AMX in Keilor Park(they also have a shop in Bayswater)And found the guys to be very helpfull.I also asked if i could leave some Oldbull fliers there and they said no problems so i will take some next weekend.

July 22, 2009 at 10:28 am #144409I have had a set of these for a while and they are far superior to the other brands I’ve seen or tried (did I just say that about an Oneal product for real!!) fairly comfortable but the shin part does have trouble fitting in my new boots. Good choice Adrian

July 22, 2009 at 10:50 am #144956I’ve had a pair of Oneals for about 5 years, they’ve been good but the elastic straps are a bit tired now.
Probably doesn’t help to put them in the washing machine after every ride :blush:July 22, 2009 at 10:53 am #144961WikdBeemer wrote:

July 23, 2009 at 3:17 pm #144406There good value had them for a year, and comfortable as long as you have long socks, i thought they looked really thin at first but seem light and forget there on now.
Wouldn’t mind some real brace$ though. -
