You don’t have to twist someone’s arm around here to get them to come on a ride. I got a call at 8.30pm last night for a ride at 7am today, beauty, I’m there. A little while later Tryhard rang, his bike was back together, so he was in. When we turned up at the meeting point there were seven of us.

Not all of us were old bulls although we all fitted the profile. Good mix of bikes. KTM, Yamaha, Suzuki represented with Dave on his XR400 because his BMW was in for a service.

So off we went through Ourimbah State Forrest linking up the single trail by main trail.

At the hill climb, Tryhard did a superb job and got all the way to the top before I realized I had my camera on me. Unfortunately Dave on the XR broke his front brake lever, bugger.

We did one more newly cut ST that finished with marble hill. The Erzburg strap came in hand.

    mmm…..what’s missing?

With one KTM not starting on the button, a Yamaha running rough, a Honda with a broken brake lever, it was time to head home. Main trail got us back to the start at 10.30am with plenty of time to celebrate Australia Day.

Thanks to all. Getting out for a couple of hours is a great start to any day.

Did you ride the ST over the western side?
Very very good bit of stuff over there. Also lots that has been neglected and is now extremely over grown.
