When i come off the suzi the other week i thought i bent the handle bars, however after i replaced them the stearing still seem out of whack,, any suggestions as to what this may be?

You have just twisted the forks in the head stock Boony. It’s a bit like what used to happen in the push bike days. Just lock the front wheel against something a pull them back into line. I had to do the same thing today, I was able to put the front wheel in between 2 trees and push on the bars to line them up.

I dont have to loosen anything??

You could if you wanted to, it would make it easier to do but I never have, I have seen some people just pull up next to a tree and bash the front wheel against it by turning the bars to straighten it up and I have even had a guy get me to kick his wheel while he held the bars to fix it.

yeah i’d loosen the triple clamps just enough to realign it. i thought the same after my bro cart-wheeled katie.

i found the bar support/mount clamps were twisted too. put a punch in each hole and twisted them back to where the should be.

so that may be a possibility too.

if you are at home just loosen the bolts on your fork clamps while your bike is on a bike stand and straighten it up and do the bolts back up.prably would not hert to loosen your front wheel of and bounce up and down on it a few times to aline it to than do it up again

When out on the trails do what Jeffro did and it will get you going again, but the way to get it back to perfect again is to put the bike on a stand and get the front wheel up off the ground, undo all fork bolts in the upper and lower tripple clamps, then spin the forks in the legs to make sure nothing has bound up, being careful of the height adjustment not moving, then tighten up one side top and bottom and as long as you have no bent upper fork legs, then you can be sure the top and bottom are in line, you then tighten up the other side and now it is all square, just be sure not to tighten too much as they wont twist in the clamps but bend, Hope that helps:)
