Here is the top cup when the pulled apart, note no grease :blink:

Top bearing (note nothing has been washed it is as is)

Bottom bearing

After being packed bottom bearing

Top bearing

Keep your bearings packed with fresh grease people, once a year

looks like the same amount of grease my xr400 came with how are the suspension linkages and swing arm bearings they were also dry on the xr(both my yamaha and ktm had heaps of grease) :dry:

Gary, I think you misread my post. Your Australian E subframe is basically a S/SM subframe so should fit no problems.
