    i, like nearly all people, run a normal front tyre with the paddle. the paddle on sand almost grips like as if you were riding tar. a mate of mine actually bluntens the paddles a bit with an angle grinder to induce some wheelspine and therefore not bog down the motor his wr450. he use to run a ribbed tyre on his cr. he also ran a cr500 engine in his cr250 frame
