    Diesel, isn’t that something to do with what they are buildin down near Geelong, you know takes sea water and turns it into drinking water.

    so service the air you don’t have to take the valve out you just depress the middle bit under the taker outer thingo… if it hisses at you it’s not mad at you that’s the sound of the ghost of the air that was in there before… ;)

    Have just changed me pads (original ones) and the rear ones had metal shims. Do i put these back or what? Only ask as the piston seems to be out a fair way.

    The shims are actually stainless heat deflectors Jak and use them yes. Pump the brake when the new pads are in and happy days. Mate if you are stuck left me know as I have a DR400 here and do a DIY for you if you wish tomorrow arvo

    Good stuff. It’s all good now. Front ones went in no worries as did the back but thought i had better ask about these heat shield thingies.
