Friday night was a wash out so we turned up Saturday morning and set up camp. Rode out around 9am in light rain that stoped within the first hour, the trails were wet and slippery, choice conditions as far as I was concerned. With only 8 of us the pace was quick and the get offs were many. Came across Nugget who was running through his newly cleared trails so knowing where he had been meant we could get a clear run. Got back to the camp site for lunch about 1 after approximately 80ks. After lunch the boys went out without me for about 3 hours of exhausting hills in the persisting down rain ( I am glad I stayed and sampled the Oyzo ) It rained on and off all night long but we didn’t care. Sorry no action photos as I didn’t get a chance.
All in all a good weekend.
