Anybody had anything to do with one of theses? They are about 35 large plus 9 bucks postage

I am looking at one for the up and coming Birdsville / Simpson / Flinders / Hattah trip for my ipad mini so I can update the ride report at the night stops

I can’t help with that style in particular TB. But we have all of our GPS gear in pelican cases and they are very tough and light. They have to contend with cutting edges and all manner of heavy objects hitting them in the back of my ute. They are expensive but worth it. I don’t think you could go wrong with the brand and that one looks good too. Just my 2 cents.

You already have the original iPad, iPad2, iPad3 and the one they haven’t invented yet!
And an iMac.

Thanks for your constructive feedback Aaron

STM I have a ipad mini now I only ever had a ipad 1. I have a mac for movies only and and iPhone for Internet on a ride. I am far from a full mac convert as I have just purchased a new windows based laptop for mapping see other post in new computer. I find if you put aside the I own one so they are the best they each work best at some things and am happy with what I have for certain applications. That said I like all the apple products I have but they were all purchased for a particular job :laugh:
