The pies at hamburger haven in Newcastle are excellent too. 4 out on 5 stars. 4.5 stars on a good day when they do the minted lamb ones.

They don’t have a big selection, they just make 2 lots of different flavor pies each day.

One pie that was great in their hey day were the Timbertown pies made in the wood fired ovens at Timbertown Wauchope. The name has since been bought and they are no longer made at Timbertown(now baked in Port Macquarie)and don’t quite live up to the past pies but aren’t to bad none the less.

Had one yesterday in Walcha Mick…not bad…not easy to eat when driving flat out.But i will give it a 7.5….when it started to drible down my wrist and burn the bejesus outa me then spill everywhere like a busted arse i started to curse Timbertown and all its natives.
it was quite nice though….just not made for eating flat out in a Hylux :cheer:

    Bol :woohoo:

Nothing worse when the arse drops out of a pie. 3rd degree burns take the shine off a good pie.

No good, all pie shops in Kiama were shut. Had to settle for Noodle House, nice but not exactly a pie.
