    Here are some pics of an old two stroke piston of mine that had a bit of a detrimental effect on the way the bike performed.

    This is what happens with a combination of high altitude, high temp, high revs, high speed and lean jetting. The bike actually still ran!

    Maybe I could fix it using the aluminium brazing rods that Shane has kindly donated.

    That gives me a thread idea,on TT they have the wall of shame thread,where you post pictures of monumental failures like the one above and a brief description what happened.

    Yeah bring em on Dave or who ever,melted pistons,bent rods,buckled wheels,whatever. Most of those things have a good story attached.Makes you realise you aren’t the only one crap happens to.:blink:

    Bugger a thread I cant add anything to as I ride a Honda, funny thing Rat is you have so many failures to post you say, oh thats right you ride KTM’s nothing more to say here Rat, you said it yourself!

    Does my cracked fuel tank count? You should have seen my face at the servo when fuel was pouring over the exhaust header and all over the servo floor!
