I had been looking at Pivot Pegz for so long now but didn’t know enough about them to take the plunge to purchase a set, must say here that the price of Pivot Pegz has gone down in the last 12 months, a substantial amount at that, show me another product that has done that.

I contacted Allan at Pivot Pegz in Tasmania and spoke at length regarding Pivot Pegz, the 2nd generation Pegz, Pivot Pegz being an Australian Product and how they export world wide, Old Bull Trailriders and about our site. Allan then donated two sets of Pivot Pegs, one for a Christmas Party prize and one for the 650 for long term testing.

I rode at the Christmas party weekend for the first time ever with Pivot Pegz, for the first ten minutes they felt different, not wrong, not weird just different. Soon when the single trail got rougher I quickly noticed my foot contact never leaving the peg gave me so much more confidence and the pegs pivoting under my feet whilst traveling through twin trail and over windrows felt fantastic.

One final thing I found I stood up a lot more and I feel the level of control I have over the bike is increased. I rate Pivot Pegz the single best thing I have fitted to a bike since I got my first steering damper in 2004.
Stay tuned for photos and updates over the next couple of months

Chris was the winner of the 2nd set of Pivot Pegz and should have his pegz this week.

I might get a set of these. You’ll have to let me have a burn on your bike TB at the weekend to see what they are like. I suppose I can live with the lack of power long enough to test the pegz out :p

This weekend is what my bike is so about you idiot! Once you see it in the environment it was built for you will have so much more respect for how good it goes up the Watagans!

Yeah I know mate. To be honest I wish I had one for this weekend.

I was even thinking about regearing my bike, but decioded that I can’t be arsed. Especially seeing as it’s still at Champo’s :)

I wonder how they will stand up to a decent crash.

You are kidding right, did you look at the them, check out this link Mick http://www.pivotpegz.net/mk2_pegz_1.htmlthe strength and build quality against the ones I took off that had Ballards wideners fitted is not worth talking about, yeah I reckon they will stand the test of time, but time will tell ;)

I was just thinking that the pivot bit might not work so good after a bit of a grind down the road..
Any idea what they retail for?

$220 boys, I will see if I can grind a set down the road in months to come mick, but looking at you crash and the peg you rooted what would have stood up to that and can you order parts rebuild those? Time will tell

Well, if I like them on your bike I’ll get a set. $220 bucks is pretty cheap for dirt bike upgrades :p
