Any idea what they retail for?On that note Mick, Allan from pivot pegz has read the thread and sent a reply from the thank you e mail we send him here it is for everybody, please support this great Australian product that supports us
Hi Greg,
Glad you like the Pegz, we work very hard to produce a world class product and it’s great to get positive feedback from yet another happy customer.
Thanks for the great write up on your site. It has only been a bit over a day and the thread is already getting some traffic. I see that someone questioned the strength of the product, they can rest assured that our Pegz are very strong, the strength has been proven many times by riders all around the world.
I even recall that a few years back we were contacted by a Dakar Rally rider who uses our Pegz and he said that he and his team were blown away by the strength of our product, one of their fully laden race bikes came down hard on a hardpack gravel track at high speed and totaled a lot of the gear on the bike but the Pegz were in perfect condition and the same set of Pegz went on the finish the 2006 Dakar Rally. The Dakar Rally is very hard on gear (including riders), the fact that riders and teams have chosen to fit Pivot Pegz to their race bike is testament to the strength, durability and competitive advantage of the product.
Thanks again your praise of the product.
If you have any future events on your calendar that you may need a prize for, please let me know as we will happily donate a set of Pegz for the occasion.
Kind Regards,
Allen

AnonymousWhat a top bloke! I get a warm fuzzy feeling when people are willing to help out in such a way. It has swayed me. After Christmas I will get a set of pegs for the Kato
I’m trying to build up some spares for the bike so I can use my original units as spares in case I manage to do what the Dakar rider couldn’t and total a set of pegs
December 4, 2008 at 10:46 pm #113808Who’d be interested in a group purchase, I’m sure if we can get some quantity Allan will look after us with price. Put your expression of interest in this thread and we’ll see what numbers we can come up with, maybe organise the buy for end of january after christmas etc is over. There you go our first OLD Bull group purchase.
Cheers

cheers Ollie
December 5, 2008 at 8:13 am #113824Chris,
I’d be interested in them! – I had a quick go of TB’s dooee fiddy unit the other day at the christmas do, and when they pivotted – it seemed as though they would be less fatiguing on longer rides or races!!!

Chris.December 10, 2008 at 11:31 am #113952O.K recieved pegz from Allen great service, installed them on the WR an easy job even for an amateur, first ride last sunday at sunny corner. What a big difference, the first immediate thing I notice was that I need to move/adjust my feet a lot less, meaning my feet stay on the pegz more which in turn gives more control. The biggest difference I noticed was when standing up, there is so much more control of the rear brake and the gear shifter, I found that I no longer had to keep taking my foot off the peg to adjust the position to use the rear brake or the gear lever. A couple more rides and I think I will never look back, it is a bit weird at first but once you get used to them it makes an amazing difference.
Cheers
